The big news: End of the road for Gautam Gambhir?
Indian fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar was recalled into the 16-member Test squad for the remaining three Tests against England. Bhuvneshwar had missed the last Test against New Zealand and the first two Tests against England owing to a back injury. Gautam Gambhir was also left out of the squad and may not feature in the Test series unless required.
England in all likelihood will recall Jos Buttler in place of Ben Duckett in the third Test in Mohali. Captain Alastair Cook admitted that the selectors would need to look at getting Buttler back into the side.
